Hardened Armor

Hardened Military-Grade Armor is the ultimate in personal protection. Each suit sports an impressive array of hardware integration from intrasuit wiring conduits to surface antenna matrices. In addition, the hardened armor framework provides a stable surface to add even more built-in accessories. Modifications heretofore limited to cyberlimbs can be applied to a suit of Hardened Armor, and such items are also protected by the suits ballistic and impact ratings. The ultimate in ergonomic, wearable gear.

Game Effects
Each suit has a set amount of ECU distributed among the helmet, torso, arms & legs. This ECU may be used to house cyberlimb cyberware - from hand razors to built-in cyberdecks. In addition a suit may have a harness or integral backpack added with additional ECU for increased capabilities. A normal suit includes Toros, Arms & Legs. The helmet must be purchased seperately. All available cyberware modifications to the armor cost 1/2 the list price of the cyber version.

The following lists detail the available ECU for various Milspec Hardened Armors, and next to that a list of available modificatons. At the bottom is a table for any miscellaneous modifications an individual might wish to add and the relative capacity of any compartments built into the armor.

The ECU cost of compartments within the armor is equivalent to the size of any object that could be stored in that compartment as per the table above. Anything stored within an armor compartment has the full protection of the armor. The compartment does not weigh anything, and the concealability modification to the armor is the concealability of any item stored within +4

>>>(Probably not as much of a problem as you think Maelwys. It has to be custom built and fitted for you in the first place. Most corps that would do that would slip in tracking devices & some way of disabling the suit...like the equivalent of a cranial bomb.)<<<

Rules

Strength Enhancements
Strength enhancements help to offset the apparent weight of the suit and modifications and also increase the damage in melee combat. Strength enhancements directly add to the strength of the wearer. As per the rules in Man & Machine, the effective strength enhancement is the average of the strength enhancements over the four limbs and torso of the armor.

Additional Body Plating
Similar to strength enhancements, additional body plating directly adds to the base ballistic & impact rating of the armor. The effective addition of armor is equivalent to the average of the additional armors across the head, torso and limbs.
